There are two. Two Slayers. They try to protect our world of everything that is bad. Demons, vampires, and everything from all your worst nightmares. They fight the darkness, yet they have darkness inside themselves but fail to realize it. They have both decided to become the Slayer in themselves, for revenge. The creatures known as The Arcane killed their parents, knowing that one day, these twins would become the most powerful Slayers in all of history, but now they are coming to the test. The Arcane have started to take over, and live human lives, meaning it's time for the Slayers to find each other, and start kicking some serious bad guy butt for the safety of mankind. Meanwhile, in the world are the humans, exist many that the other two Clans call The Oblivious. They do not know about the Slayers or the Arcane, except for a slim few, the ones who have once been part of the Arcane's secret world, until they were killed by a past generation's Slayer. And certain demons who have failed to do what they were supposed to do as demon have been banished by The Order of the creatures and sentenced to live the rest of their years as humans.
During the time the Legendary Slayers' parents were alive, the Slayers of the time dominated over the Arcane, special thanks to the knowledge and intelligence of the parents. The parents entrusted the Slayers with the lives of their children, and hid them away. When they left the world, they had realized what needed to be done. Their Twin girls had to be taken care of to ensure the permanent reign of The Arcane. Witches chose to abandon their Clan for eternity just to raise the Twins themselves. At this, The Order frowned upon, yet allowed. Knowing that the Witches were one of the most intellectual Class of the Arcane, they could trust them with their enemies' lives, since they were also one of the weakest Classes as well. When they discovered the Twins after their guards were killed, they were separated on different sides of the planet and raised as best as the Witches could manage. They hoped one day they would be able to return to their Clan... but not as weak, but the most powerful Arcanes of them all.
In the busy streets of New York City. Twin girls, Rayne and Wynne, have just met but have barely realized that they really were tied. Not just by blood, but by destiny. These girls were meant to be the key to mankind's salvation... or downfall.
At this point 21st Century, three "Clans" exist in our world. The Slayers, The Arcane, and The Oblivious. The Slayers consisting of the traitorous Witches, the Twins, and any capable allies they have met in their lifetime.
The Arcane are mythical beings of many Classes that are highly dangerous to all that oppose them. Their powers are otherworldly, especially The Order's. The Order is a group of chosen special 7 Arcane creatures of different Classes that exceed the rest of their kind.
Finally there are the Oblivious. Everyday humans that occasionally stumble upon the other Clans. Many fall victim to Omit, medicine used to rearrange a person's recent memory simply by speaking it out loud.
